The operator

Hans Turner.
The operator in charge.

I’m the founder of Brainztem. Every send the crew drafts waits for a person before it leaves the building. On your workspace, that person is you. On Brainztem’s own instance, where I run the crew, it’s me.

The story

Built by one person.
Run by a crew.

I designed, built, and shipped the entire Brainztem platform myself — the product, the agents, the infrastructure, and the brand. Before it, I spent my career building the web for other people: 180+ revenue-generating sites, UI/UX, and product systems.

Today the same operating system runs five live client instances across five verticals — a nonprofit, an eco-development firm, a fabrication shop, a disability-services organization, and a trades crew. Five completely different businesses, each with its own private brain, its own agents, and its own brand.

And we use what we sell. Brainztem itself runs on Brainztem — the same crew, the same gates, the same mission control every customer gets.

“One founder. Twelve teammates. None of them human.”
The headcount on my own instance — Brainztem running Brainztem.

The operating philosophy

Nothing sends itself.

A crew that can act on your behalf needs a harder rule than good intentions. Ours is simple: work leaves the building only after a human approves it. The crew drafts, files, follows up, and schedules — and then it waits.

Every send

Emails, posts, outreach — anything that reaches a real person waits for a human click.

Every spend

Money, contracts, commitments — proposed by the crew, executed only by a person.

Every delete

Anything irreversible gets a second set of eyes before it happens. No exceptions.

These gates aren’t a premium tier or a setting you can switch off. They’re the floor.Read the full safety & approval model

The proof

Five instances.
Five verticals.

One operating system, five completely different businesses running on it today.
